Dr. Locker enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, and exercising.
Dr. Locker is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon who specializes in knee and hip replacement surgery, arthroscopic shoulder surgery, arthroscopic knee surgery and sports medicine.
Dr. Locker became an orthopedic surgeon because he developed an interest in sports medicine as a two-sport college athlete, and orthopedic surgery was a natural extension of this.
What sets him apart as a physician is how thoroughly he explains a patient's problem to them. He believes you cannot help someone get better unless they understand what’s wrong.
What sets his practice apart is its diversity. After learning the anterior approach to total hip replacement in 2005, Dr. Locker was lucky enough to help thousands of people with hip arthritis. At the same time, he has been the team physician for College of Central Florida since 2001, enabling him to treat athletic injuries, as well.
Outside of orthopedics, Dr. Locker enjoys spending time with his family, golfing and exercising.
