Biography
Dr. Don Franklin III is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon and a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. His clinical expertise encompasses a broad range of orthopedic conditions, with a focus on joint replacement, shoulder and knee arthroscopy, and the treatment of fractures. Dr. Franklin brings a unique perspective to his practice, shaped by his experience as a collegiate athlete and as a team physician for the U.S. Ski Team.
Dr. Franklin is committed to helping his patients regain function and return to their active lifestyles. Known for his patient-centered approach, he integrates cutting-edge technologies and advanced implants to achieve the best outcomes. His most common procedures include shoulder and hip replacements, knee replacement, rotator cuff repair, meniscus repair, and carpal tunnel release.
Outside of his practice, Dr. Franklin enjoys fly fishing, skiing and golf. He welcomes patients ranging from adolescents to older adults and is passionate about providing quality orthopedic care tailored to each individual's needs.
